For 51 years, Joe has been making music. What started in his Waukegan High School has developed into more than music, but a drive and passion to play and perform. While playing guitar, that drive was started and kept fueled by influences like: Roger McGuinn, Jeff Newman, Paul Franklin and Buddy Emmons. Joe honed his skills throughout the years and has become an accomplished musician playing with bands such as: High Country, Bullseye, Exit South and Burough Creek. His passion for playing music led to an interest of playing other instruments like steel guitar, dobro, lap steel and banjo. Because of his diverse love of music, Joe listens to and plays the new country, old country and everything in between. If you don’t see Joe sittin’ at the steel, you may just catch Joe sittin in a boat fishing or just maybe hittin’ a few balls out on the golf course. Wherever you see Joe, I am sure he’ll be whistling or humming an old Waylon country tune.
Joe would make ol’ Waylon proud.
